Betzdorf - Junglinster - Niederanven
As defined by the Law of 18 December 2009 on the regulation of social assistance in Luxembourg, CENTREST social assistance office was established in 2011 and is responsible for the following communes:
- Betzdorf (Betzdorf, Berg, Mensdorf, Olingen & Roodt-sur-Syre)
- Junglinster (Altlinster, Beidweiler, Bourglinster, Eisenborn, Eschweiler, Godbrange, Gonderange, Graulinster, Imbringen, Junglinster & Rodenbourg)
- Niederanven (Ernster, Hostert, Niederanven, Oberanven, Rameldange, Senningen, Senningerberg & Waldhof)
Why contact the social service?
The missions of the social assistance office:
- inform residents about their rights and duties
- directing residents to appropriate services
- accompanying residents in the social assistance process
Areas in which the social assistance office can provide help:
- administrative procedures (forms to complete, drafting letters)
- employment (job search, job loss, reorientation, studies/schooling)
- family (childhood, youth, parenthood, old age, family conflicts, marital problems, domestic violence)
- immigration and/or integration (language courses)
- justice (legal aid, protection measures)
- housing (private housing assistance, applications social housing, subsidised and emergency housing)
- financial problems and/or budget management (government financial assistance, social assistance, budgeting guidance and management)
- health (health insurance, invalidity/disability, illness, old age)
- social security (health insurance)
The services provided by social assistance office are free of charge and its staff are bound by professional secrecy.

We inform you that since 1 July 2025, the Social Office is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 5 PM. The reception is also available by phone during these times.
